Become a Scriptwriter! - A grammar class game
Divide the students in two teams and
give to each one a picture from a fairytale. Start the game by saying the
utterance: “Once upon a time…” Pupils have to write in 30 minutes as many
sentences as they can think of for the picture. They can use their imagination
and write a small story of their own. Explain to them that they have to utilize
either Present or Past tense to form the sentences. When
you say the utterance: “And they lived
happily ever after…” they have to stop writing. The team with the most
sentences wins 4 stickers!
